Solid East Indian rosewood back and sides give chords and fingerpicking the right amount of depth alongside the pristine note-by-note definition that makes rosewood an enduring favorite. An exquisite AAA Sitka spruce top brings dynamic power to rosewood’s depths with touch-sensitive playability that can whisper soft and sweet or roar to life with assertive force — it all depends on how you play. Moreover, the LD70e’s sound chamber is braced with forward-shifted spruce, a modern update to a classic bracing that gives the LD70e incredible volume potential without compromising note definition. To top it all off, the Herringbone namesake brings forth an iconic binding design that looks sharp in the hands of any discerning guitarist.

The LD70e Herringbone Sunset Laureate Series spares no detail, even when it comes to the small things. A plethora of premium hardware ensures this guitar is both beautiful and rugged, so you can rely on it for years to come. A true bone nut and saddle maximize the vibrational transfer from the strings to the body, ensuring you get the purest tone possible. The bridge is made from ebony, which also enhances vibrational transfer. The headstock features tuning machines with an upgraded high-performance 20:1 gear ratio for precise results that hold tunings accurately and for longer.

The LR Baggs HiFi system is everything players want in an acoustic-electric pickup: balanced sound, noninvasive design, and an impressive resistance to feedback. The system is beyond reliable and offers over 700 hours of use on a single 9-volt battery. Consisting of a HiFi preamp, two bridge plate sensors, a discrete end pin jack, and Volume and Tone controls, the HiFi’s magic lies in how the system preserves acoustic integrity. The bridge plate sensors use materials and placement that listen to acoustic movement and tonewoods without dampening natural resonance. These sensors are guests of the sound chamber, not intruders, and what you hear is your guitar’s inherent sound and nothing more.
